Meet Anca, Founder.

When her daughter Elena started eating solid food, Anca read the labels. Children's food was full of ingredients she couldn't recognise. And the one thing Elena loved — pasta — was just processed flour and water. No nutrients. Nothing. So Anca made her own.

Because of what's inside, and how it's made. Whole, raw vegetables (not powder) make up roughly a third of the dough. Free-range eggs, not water, bind it. Italian durum wheat. Pasta dries slowly for 3–4 days, not hours. Every pack is made and packed in small batches at our atelier in Maramureș. The price reflects real ingredients and small-batch production — not factory pasta with a premium label.
Verdella is dried pasta. Each pack has a shelf life of 12 months from the production date when stored in a cool, dry place. No refrigeration needed. Because we use no preservatives or stabilisers, the natural colour of the beetroot and pepper pastas may fade slightly over time — that's the vegetable doing its job, not a problem.
5–6 minutes in salted boiling water. Because the pasta is slow-dried and made with egg, it cooks faster than most dry pasta. It also holds sauce better and won't go mushy if you leave it a minute longer.
We ship to Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, and Poland. Standard delivery is €6.90 — and free on orders over €48 (the 6-pack box).

Your pasta isn't sitting in a warehouse. We make each order in small batches at our atelier in Maramureș after you place it — slow-dried 3–4 days, then shipped directly to your door. Total: 5–7 business days from order to delivery.
Verdella contains wheat (gluten) and eggs. That's it. No nuts, no dairy, no soy, no traces of anything we don't list on the pack. Vegetarian. Not vegan (eggs). Not gluten-free.

That's proof it's real. The natural colour from spinach, beetroot, and sweet pepper washes into the boiling water — the same way it does when you boil whole vegetables at home. If the colour stayed perfectly stable through cooking, it would mean we used a stabiliser. We don't. Real food has tells.
